Bear Mountain CT – Granola Brown Ale

First hike in the 5 day journey to complete the New England 6 Pack of Peaks.

My first interaction with Socal hiker was while I lived in California from Sept 2014 to Aug 2015.  The site really helped motivate me to hike and complete the Socal 6 Pack of Peaks (i.e. before the official patches).

I was happy to see the 6 Pack expanded to New England.

If you remember, a beer was consumed at the end of every hike.  I have paired a beer from an in state brewer for every hike.

The beer for this hike is Granola Brown Ale from Connecticut brewer Black Hog.
