Took down The Devil

Mt Diablo aka The Devil did not take us down today. Hike up to the summit with a fellow challenger. Be sure to check the weather before heading out. My favorite time of year is here. The foliage has turned to some vibrate yellows and reds. We were glad to be hiking in 70 degree weather. Yesterday the weather was in the high 90s. Trails are well marked. Hiking poles were helpful when ascending, there was loose gravel. I am sad to report we did not spot any tarantulas this time around.
