Mt. Diablo lives up to it’s name!

We were expecting a 13 mile hike….it was more like 16 miles. Getting to the summit was a very hard hike–a lot of steep incline and declines throughout. The area is absolutely beautiful and the scenery at the summit is breathtaking so very much worth the hard work. We lucked out on the weather as it was a gorgeous fall day: clear and sunny but crisp most of the day. Perfect!
