This was my first hike! We started about 8 in the morning. The weather was pretty chilly. I probably should had brought more layers. There were a few people on the trail at the beginning heading towards the water fall. Once we passed the water fall, that’s when I really felt the incline. It was a long, steep path just going up. It reaally burned my legs! We finally got to the observatory, took a quick break. Then, continued back on the trail. At this point it was freezing! For me, being it was my first big hike, I was totally winded! The last mile right before reaching the peak was a killer. I really didn’t think I’d make it, but luckily I did. And, boy was it worth it! It was so beautiful.
