Set out just to do Cucamonga Peak, but decided before the saddle to also do Ontario and Bighorn, as I had the water, food, energy, and time to do so. Hit cucamonga first, where microspikes were a great idea. I had them and could continue my fast pace through the ice and snow. There were people attempting it without spikes and they were much more unstable and unsafe. While clear at the top, the basin was foggy, so you could see the coastal mountains peeking up through the fog. All three Saints were easily visible. I realized afterwards that to get to Ontario and Bighorn I should have just gone off-trail up the ridge from the saddle between Bighorn and Cucamonga, but I actually went back to Icehouse Saddle before going up to Ontario Peak, then to Bighorn.
