Beautiful hike…weather was perfect! I was expecting it to be cold and windy at the top, but it was not. We enjoyed our lunch on the concrete slab near the lookout tower before descending. It took us about 2.5 hours up and 2 hours down. This was my favorite hike so far, as far as the trail conditions and over all beauty (Bear Mountain was perhaps more beautiful, but I prefer less rocky trails). This trail, although rocky at times, was the least rocky of the trails I've done in this challenge so far. I would recommend wearing pants, as the trail is very narrow in many places with lots of brush rubbing against your legs.
