Cucamonga COLD!

Trailhead Icehouse Canyon

Cold, clear and windy. 20-degrees and gusty winds at the summit. After Icehouse Saddle we encountered patches of snow and ice. Microspikes and trekking poles were great. Passed a threesome who summited without any such gear. They were happy enough, but we probably would’ve turned back without our microspikes.
