Started this hike early in the morning. Glad I did. It was pretty warm on the way back down. Glad I got the tough switchbacks at the beginning finished before the sun was fully out. The switchbacks are in a ravine and shaded so maybe it wouldn’t be that bad. Did see signs of a bear. No surprise. There were berries everywhere on one section of the trail. Stay safe. Make noise. Spectacular views of Sedona from up top.
