Mount Wilson was beautiful. Nice cool hike under the canopy the whole way up. I had my 4 year old toddler in a piggyback most of the way so we were moving a bit slower, but we made it to the summit and had lunch. So lemme make my rookie excuse first. This was a last minute hike and the first time we have attempted mt wilson so i did not download any maps. I figured we would follow the signs and do the loop and have a nice day. Nope! We got some directions from the cosmic cafe and ended up way way west in henninger flats in Altadena. Big shout out to ranger Yohan for the lift, after at least nine miles we were a little spent and he took us down to Eaton canyon so we could catch an uber back to chantry flats. Other than that we loved the hike and stumbled upon fuji camp ground which we plan on going back to with the kids.
