13.5 mile turned into 17 miles!

It was a very shaded well maintained straneous trail! We started at 7am and got to the obsevatory at 10. We had a picnic for about an hour. On the way down we took a wrong turn towards Eaton Canyon, when we realized we were on the wrong road we had gone about 1 mile into it so our hike ended up being roughly 16 miles and made it back down at 3pm.
