Peak #1. We are hiking the peaks as a family, so trying to keep it fun and doable, we stayed overnight at the Sturtevant Camp. What a gem! We hiked from Chantry Flats to Sturtevant about noon on Friday. It was very warm at the trailhead leaving and coming and I'm glad we didn't wait until later in the summer. Once arriving at Sturtevant we spent the rest of the day playing on the zip line, big swing, and ping pong. Early Saturday morning we headed up to the summit. Beautiful hike, mostly shaded with the reward of treats at the Cosmic Cafe.
