I have hiked Picacho Peak many times.  This time parts of the trail were under construction.  The recent heavy rains washed out parts of the trail and moved quite a bit of rock.  The trail is still very doable and just requires a little caution from the saddle to the summit.  It was a beautiful, crisp day with a little wind.
