Rose Peak – longest hike on the shortest day

It was a great day for the 6th and final hike, and I met several other six-packers tackling their last summit as well!  The trails and dirt roads were all in great shape. The weather was in the low 50’s for most of the hike, with only the wind on the summit making it cold.

While the hike looks harder on paper that Mt Sizer, I actually thought it was about the same or maybe even a little easier to complete.
