The weather was very questionable on the way up, it was really cloudy and heavy mist (almost sprinkling at times). It was cold at the start (cold for Southern California, around the mid-50s). Within the first hour, we broke through the clouds and it was nothing but gorgeous blue skies! Being above the clouds made for absolutely gorgeous photos. It was very chilly and windy at the top, and the summit was actually crowded! But everyone was so happy! We ran across a lot of Six-Pack of Peak Challengers as well as some other groups. So much fun! This hike is a beast on the decent down the Baldy Bowl Ski Hut trail, but we survived. This was our 3rd hike in the Six-Pack of Peaks Challenge! We're halfway there!!!
