Morning hike to Potato Chip

Great, cool weather for a morning hike on New Year day. Not too many people at the top. Roughly 7 miles with steady climb and about 2000 feet elevation gain. If you park at Lake Poway there is a $10 entrance fee per car.  Many start from the Ramona side and park along route 67. I also like starting from Blue Sky Reserve. This will extend the hike by few miles hiking along Lake Poway. On weekends the line to take photos on the Potato Chip can be long so go early and be patient. Happy Trails!
