I started at Volcan Mountain Trail off of Farmers Rd. I used the side path, Five Oaks and it was a nice hike up on a smaller path than the larger of the two paths to the top. No snow or ice really to deal with over there. A little bit of mud but overall no ice to hard to pass unlike Volcan Mtn Trail. It was an icy mess. I fell on my butt twice coming down it. Overall it was a very easy hike. Saw lots of people making the hike while I was out there. Got it done in less than 2 hours!
