A relaxing hike to the Black Mountain

I decided to go with the easier trial from Monte Bello since the parking lot at the Rhus Ridge trailhead was already full at 7:20am.  I have had a few miles hike yesterday so why not give myself a break?

The first half of the trail laid along the green hills with gentle ascending. Cute tiny wildflowers scattered in the meadow. I took a short extra side trail on the top to over look the valley. The busy silicon valley looked like the sunken city of Atlantis in the morning fog. The way back on the loop was a lot more steep. Overall, it was a joyful relaxing hike.
