A windy day at Black Mountain

We started at Monte Bello Open Space Preserve because it’s a shorter trail to Black Mountain and it’s a good warm-up for more challenging peaks ahead. From the parking lot, take the canyon trail for approximately 1 mile and turn to Bella Vista trail for another 1.5 mile. Overall, the trail is fairly easy and flat. The grass is green and pretty. It’s very windy when we approach the the mountain.
