Another Beautiful Morning on Alan Peak

We started in the dark and ended in the fog haha. The trail to Oats Peak is a lovely meandering climb. Things gets serious after that haha. My friend had done this one before so I appreciated her being able to point out where we were headed (it was not obvious ha). We only saw 3 people all day and they all turned around at Oats. There’s a nice shady spot at the top of Alan – enjoy it because the first half of the trip back is brutal!
