Bear Mountain

Started just after sunrise, nice cool morning. We stopped many times to take in all the views of the canyon land around; saw a lot of hot air balloons taking off in the valley below us.
Pretty tough hike to make the summit, several areas where you are basically climbing stairs up the sandstone, but worth it.
There are several false summits, making the actual summit all that more satisfying once you reach it.  View from the top was amazing, you can see for miles and miles.
Watch your step while on top there are sheer cliffs on all sides, my pup nearly found the edge while taking interest in a bird.
Great hike week worth the effort!!????
