Belknap Beauty

It was a beautiful day for fall hiking!  I hiked alone and enjoyed the solitude. I started early, as the sun was rising, and didn’t encounter anyone else on the trail until I had summited and got back to the bottom of Belknap.  The views were incredible, so I extended my hike an extra mile to give myself more time to drink in all the beauty in the area.  I went to the top of Little Belknap Crater on my way back to the car.  There’s a  lot to love about this hike! One of my favorite parts was seeing all the colorful fall foliage near the forested sections of the trail.
