We already hiked Maiden Peak, but wanted to also hike this optional peak, guess we’re overachievers! Lots of lava rocks (hard on doggy paws) on Belknap Crater, then up the sandy trail to the top of the peak, very nice views! Had lunch overlooking the large crater ditch.
