easy parking… pay at the entry Ranger office with a machine that takes credit cards only  but not American Express . Senior discount 62 and older gives you a dollar off! $9.00 fee.

The Azalea Glen route is beautiful with lots of spring flowers blooming. The trail up isn’t too hard but it is rocky until you get to the intersection and the fire road where it has a little more gradual  incline up to the summit. It was very windy and cold! Went up to the tower, climbed up the boulders to the actual Summit. There was no sign this year just a summit box. Took the loop down through the campground. 5 miles up 3 miles down
