Cloud Mist & Rain in Elden

The weather was sunny at the trailhead. Further up the mountain it was cloudy, there was mist and at times there was light rain. I had my rainjacket however so it wasn’t a problem. Near the summit, 2 hikers who caught up to me warned me of a coming thunderstorm from the southwest. We got to the summit and they descended at once. I lingered a while to take photos and then started heading down. Fortunately I didn’t get caught in any thunderstorm. There was no lightning or thunder. The sun had set by the time I returned to my car.
