Corte Madera conquest

Jim Mills and I picked another great day for a hike. We were a little worried driving in because it was cloudy but by the time we got to the trailhead all was clear on that side of the mountains. Cool and clear. Trail starts out pretty easy on a road, then a single track, then a fire road and then gets challenging. Pretty narrow trail going up and bushes will brush your legs and arms but fairly gently. I wore shorts and short sleeves and had no scrapes to show. As you start moving up the trail is pretty Rocky and includes having to scramble over some pretty big steps. The train is beautiful, studded with pine trees then Manzanita groves over your head then Manzanita groves that are waist high than knee high. Beautiful pink granite boulders everywhere you go. The view from the top is absolutely stunning.
