Eddyfication

Beautiful day in the Shasta Trinity Wilderness!  Perfect hiking conditions – shorts and short sleeves until summit where I light puffy was great for some wind protection.  Passed a few (struggling mountain bikers on the way up and a several other hikers but generally very quiet.  Beautiful varity in the trail – wooded areas to meadows, alpine lakes and then high alpine bareness.  Trail condition really good and easy to follow – a bit of loose scree on top third.  Really enjoyable all the way around – killer views at summit – no surprise.
