Finally got around to doing this hike, which has been on my radar for years (just a bit too far away with young kids). It is a great hike! Air was super clear, could see the Salton Sea and the ocean on the other side. A little chilly on the upper ridge with the wind but not bad. We went up the road and down the Five Oaks trail for a little variety.
