First one for this year in the books!

I have a love/hate relationship with this mountain. I love it because the views from the top are amazing, it’s the first hike I do with any amount of vert and high grade, and it kicks off my summer season and sets a benchmark for me.

I hate it bc White Dot is brutal, especially for the first hike of the summer. It reminds me that I screwed around all winter and spring and got out of shape. About halfway up and I just want to go back. Crazy thing is that I know I about 6wks I will do this entire hike in less than 2hrs. it’s just that first one…
