First timers at Flatiron

Such a fun trail! Not nearly as hard as people hype it up to be. Or maybe I just read enough about it to think it was going to be a super long and gnarly day out on the trail and was surprised to find it way more chill than I expected. Yes, it’s a long mile of scrambling after the initial 2 miles of hiking but totally doable! I love heights and scrambling so this trail is in my wheelhouse lol! It was our first time doing it and we had a blast!!! Took us 2 hours 20 minutes to summit and about 2 hours on the way back down to the trailhead. We started around 0700 so it was cool and shady the entire way up. Get after it!
