Hiked with a group

July 19th through July 25, kicked of a series of events that left me with no power in my trailer and a dead truck battery and a garmin watch that ran out of power during one of our hikes. Mostly due to me not shutting off certain power elements in my trailer which drained my batteries while boon-docking. Not having enough direct sunlight on my solar panels and no shore power also aided in leaving me powerless until July 26th.

That said, July 19th we all headed to the Manitou Incline to take up the challenge of hiking up 2768 stairs with almost 2,000 feet in elevation gain in just one mile. And then continued on another mile to the summit of Rocky Mountain. We parked at a park and ride lot (way too expensive, but really the only alternative) and then took the bus/shuttle (free) to the stairs. We met a lot of people along the way and had a great time cheering on and being cheered on by others while making our way up the stairs. Once at the top of the stairs we continued on to Rocky Mountain.
