Memorial Day on Granite Mountain. Got to the parking lot at 7:30am, still a lot of empty spots. First few miles in the forest are snow free, avalanche gully is in good shape. Once exposed on the trail, the snow starts. Lots of snow fields to cross. Got to the summit at 10am. Beautiful views all around. Some good glissading going down. Got back to the parking lot around noon. The trail is in very good condition, great hike on a sunny warm day.
