It was a perfect weather day for hiking. I started with a group that was doing part of the hike, so after the first mile I took off at a quick pace. I reconnected with them on my way down from High Point. The trail is in great shape and easy to follow. There was only one other group at the top. There was some confusion finding the parking lot using AllTrails.
