This is the third time ever that I’ve hiked Welch Dicky. This is my third six pack of peaks this year. Three of us hiked this hike.
We had incredible weather. I couldn’t have asked for a better day. The hike overall was fantastic. It was really great to get out. We took so many pictures and we had so much fun. I really love hiking Welch-Dickey. It’s in my top five hikes. You got a little something of everything hiking there. Different style rock faces, trees. There are different styles of caterpillars, various bugs and mushrooms. We always find ourselves googling. What type of bugs are there. There really isn’t an overly difficult part of the hike. There is a part where you kinda have to squeeze sideways for a little, but I believe you can go around it, but I always make sure I stuff myself in there lol.
