What an emaculate view North Wilson Mountain gives! ?? This was my first time hiking this trail and I’m so glad I did. It’s a gradual yet challenging incline for the first couple of miles before reaching what is called the first bench. From here, it’s another 2 miles before reach the Sedona Overlook and Canyon Overlook split. I enjoyed wildflower blooms and a cool breeze along my journey. Much of the wildflower blooms and lush foliage attracted an annoying amount of mosquitoes and flies, so I would suggest wearing a good bug repellent. I wore a dri-fit long sleeve top and dri-fit pants, so I was able to tolerate the bugs. Overall, this was a beautiful hike and I look forward to hiking it again!
