When you fail to prepare, prepare to fail.  Well not a complete failure because I made to the summit and back in good health.

Went up Hunt but too steep to come down.  Went down Chimney Pond which left me 16 miles from my car.

Lots of Thank You’s need to go out on this hike.

1.  Family from Canada who helped me navigate a tricky part going up on the Hunt Trail when I had almost decided to turn around.
2. Dude from Brunswick for the ride to the guard shack
3. Summit Wardens for the ride to Abol
4. Mountain Man for ride to my car

The final beer is from the Maine Beer Co.  Aptly named Lunch, because the Hunt Trail took and ate my lunch today.
