Kyhv Peak (Alternate Schmalternate)

A “buffet of trails” allowing you to digest multiple trail experiences all in one day. Nice simple wide trail beginning, reasonable elevation gain over a short period in the shade, full bloom wild flower field, then the summit and amazing 360 degree views. If you’re lucky on the timing, you may even catch a base jumper named Moab Joe who will make you wish you had a more direct (and obviously much cooler) path to your mode of transportation. We stayed at the summit for about an hour just soaking it all in. Kyhv was incredible, a little something for everybody to enjoy. Highly recommend and will definitely do this hike multiple times. NOTE: if following the All Trails app, make sure you take the turn at the PEAK rock (see pic) – we missed it and added an extra 30 mins unknowingly.
