The hike started off with a snow covered trailhead and continued up to the first rise up to a snow covered meadow. Very challenging at times with the slush snow melt. Definitely needed the crampons to make the assent to the top, where there were sketchy spots and a minor misstep would have spelled a dangerous fall down the steep snowy covered mountain. Very amazing views up top, but definitely need to take your time.
