Lovely wildflowers

The hike started out with foggy conditions which was perfect. I left about 8:30 am, 4 other hikers just ahead of me. Lots of beautiful wild flowers and poison oak. Loved the river crossings. Once the sun came out lots of flies and exposed sun on the trail. Last 1/2 mile to peak a steep scramble with loose rock. Took road back rather than descending down steep 1/2 mile. It extended the hike but was a good decision. Nice to make some new friends. Beautiful view of Lake Cachuma on way back.
