Meadows and Crags to Castle Peak

Lollipop loop hike that started in meadows full of mule ears, and headed steeply uphill to the craggy Castle Peak.  Then we straddled a ridge line to the adjacent Basin Peak.  Meadows full of wildflowers on the way down, along with a snow field where we made a couple little snow guys.

Learned that my heart meds (beta blockers) interact very poorly with going uphill at elevation — maxed out my heart rate at 110, which isn’t enough! — but got the job done anyway.
