Mount Tallac did not disappoint – spectacular views, abundant wildlife, and excellent weather yesterday.
There is still snow covering significant parts of the trail in a steep and technical section as you head up the bowl towards the false summit. We had microspikes and poles, but it still felt sketchy where the slope angle was steep.
Proceed with caution for another few weeks until the snow has melted.
