Beautiful morning and day to hike. 5:30 am start. Manker Flats parking lot was not too crowded and only saw a few hikers on the way up to the Notch. Again, great weather headed up the Backbone. Came across of few other pairs climbing. Submitted and had the peak to ourselves for a few minutes at 8:30am. Headed down towards the Ski Hut and man was it crowded all the way down. Glad we got up and down. What a great experience and hope to go up through the ski hut next time.
