The trail had it all. Waterfalls, views, forest and many other friendly hikers even on Superball Sunday. Some erosion happened on some parts of the trail. However still very well maintained and secured compared to other hikes in the area. Ice and snow above Manzanita Ridge. Rock fall on mt Wilson toll road, which was dangerous to climb over because of the ice.
I loved read the historical site signs. It took me roughly 10h to complete. Started 8:30am, came back with last daylight. Recommend bringing headlights this time of the year.
