Now I know why they call it Bear Mountain!

We started hiking at about 7 o’clock, finished right at 11 o’clock. Starting temp was just under 80°, finishing temp was 94°! Thank God we started early! For a trail just under 6 miles, this was definitely challenging, especially considering the heat, and virtually no shade. Beware of false peaks too, there was a large group of young adults, flying drones on what we thought was the final peak, but we found out that we had still quite a ways to go!! All in all, loved this hike, and will keep it on my list to possibly repeat ????????????????
