Oh My Guyots!!

Mount Guyot is hands down my favorite climb in Summit County.  Today did not disappoint with glorious weather and not another soul around the hike was one of the best of the season for me.

First mile is up is basically road but its very quick and easy.  The turn off to Little French Gulch will run you up and old mining trail where you can access the basins.  There is no real trail up Guyot itself which is what makes it so fun.  There are two steep climbs with a few cairns and some goat tracks.  The viws from the top are spectacular and the drop off the south side is something spicy to behold!
