O’Leary Peak Lookout

Beautiful morning. Temp around 44 @ 7:30. Trail clear. Sunny and just a slight breeze. Lava flow Was excellent to scramble on for a quick detour. Slow and steady up through the switchbacks. Last steep grade up to the tower was a killer but worth it for the view.. Mount Humphries still with snow was a nice sight. Ranger in tower was nice to chat with for a few then time to head down. Parking lot was full when I got back. View from the tower and one from a first view of the tower.
