Opening Day so our hiking group decided to head to Flagstaff from Goodyear to conquer  Mount Elden. It was a beautiful morning for this hike. I loved the climb and views. There was just a couple patches of snowpack on the trail just as you reach the fire tower. Windy & cold up top but very comfortable temps while hiking. Altitude not a problem even coming from desert floor.
