We planned this hike weeks in advance but the weather had other plans. Thankfully we were flexible and patient enough to wait for a clear day. Saturday and Sunday rained, no views on our other hikes. But Monday was awesome.
Lots of folks on the trail as it was summer and a federal holiday. But that helped us as we got in our heads about the scrambles, elevation and losing sight of the trail over the boulders.
A high effort, high reward hike. I would definitely do this one again.
