This was the last day I could finish my Six-Peak hike challenge as the holidays are coming up and thankfully I finished! There were, however, some challenges such as the weather and finding out where the hike begins. For the weather, it started off cloudy but soon starting raining as I was trekking up the mountain. I had to hurry and just keep walking all the way up to the top. Fortunately, it didn’t leave the ground too wet or the rocks too slippery and I just kept pushing forward.  It also brought nice scenery to the area. But once reaching the top, I quickly came back down and it soon stopped raining.

For the main difficulties of this trail, some of the trail is not marked all too well. I’d say rely on your phone and use Google Maps to navigate whether you’re on the right trail or if you’re going in the right direction.  The beginning of the trail is marked on Google Maps, however, there’s a gate blocking cars from going in or out and this might make hikers think the trail is closed.  As for parking, I parked right by this area, but there isn’t exactly a parking lot of any sort. Also, heading here I was a little confused because there was a long dirt road that seemed to go on forever (at least 12 minutes of driving). Nevertheless, it was still a nice hike and I wish I could do it again on a sunny day and I think the vibe would have been really different. Still glad to have finished my Six-Peak Challenge for the year!
