Refreshing Strawberries

Like descriptions I read elsewhere the first few miles were great with a slight incline. Where the trail is in the shade, there was some ice on the trail, not difficult, but very cautious and slowed down. The weather was beautiful, what I think is perfect hiking weather – sunny but cool.

The last part and the false peaks were expected and not too difficult. The views were amazing, snow capped mountains in the distance were gorgeous!  It was a great hike and one I’ll do again.

Strawberries at the top were very refreshing and will be bringing them on more hikes for lunch at the peak.
