Rocks, rocks, and more rocks!
Also on this hike
To say there are rocks you’ll need to go over is an understatement. All there is is rocks. I remembered hiking this trail 10 years ago, and over the years, it looks like it’s had several rock slides and in some spots trail erosion which make parts sketchy to pass. I would not recommend taking pets or children. Sheer cliffs and loose rocks makes sure footing important. Poles help. The only good thing was the view of Mt. Shasta. But overall, this is not a favorite trek I’ll return to.
